Job Summary:
The Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for driving new business revenue growth by identifying and attracting new clients who align with Amplified Insurance’s value proposition. This position is a sales-oriented position and requires advanced communication skills, a thorough knowledge of insurance products available through the agency. The individual in this position must be capable of pursuing and closing sales of new and existing commercial lines accounts and retaining assigned book of commercial lines business. In addition to demonstrating their sales skills, successful candidates will also build and maintain the relationship with clients by working with them on an ongoing basis and through the annual renewal process. Successful candidates will also demonstrate a superb work ethic, high level of motivation and strong team working skills by routinely collaborating with our internal service, Marketing team on specific client needs.
Job Duties:
- Proactively prospect via cold calls, referrals, key centers of influence and personal contacts
- Achieve objectives established in annual producer sales plan
- Develop strategic referral partners and centers of influence through networking (CPA firms, attorneys, associations, etc.)
- Follow Amplified’s sales process to understand a prospects’ business, assess needs and understand objectives
- Review prospect’s and clients’ situations and design plans to fit needs and contain costs
- Participate in mentoring program to include educational mentor and closing mentor
- Update and manage a prospect database
- Maintain and foster client relationships
- Participate in weekly all-staff meeting
- Meet with Vice President to discuss open prospects and closed cases
- Contribute to and flourish in a team environment and engage in regular professional development
Required Education, Training, Knowledge and Experience:
- Three or more years of experience in sales preferred
- Property & Casualty License or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven ability to pursue and close sales.
- Property & Casualty Insurance industry knowledge preferred
- Experience with prospecting, networking and nurture marketing
