We’re still basking in the glow that our parent company, Telamon Insurance Network, was named by Business Insurance as a 2023 Best Place to Work in Insurance, recognizing employers for their outstanding performance in establishing workplaces where employees can thrive, enjoy their work, and help their companies grow!   There are two key components to the awards process.  The first is a questionnaire completed by the employer about company policies, practices, and demographics.  The second is a confidential employee survey on engagement and satisfaction.

If you didn’t know then, well you know now that company culture here is our priority and we believe has everything to do with our bottom line.  Who we are and how we do business is anchored in our values, the stories we tell, and our collective mindset to cultivate an exceptional employee experience that in turn, drives an exceptional customer service experience.  We spend much of our lifetime working with the people we work with, so we think we ought to make work an enjoyable place to be!  

As a mama of two myself, nothing resonates with me more, especially in a post-pandemic landscape.  Let’s run meetings that are engaging, collaborate on processes that make things easier, create policies that make sense, and create environments that promote growth, belonging, and purpose.  A “best place to work” doesn’t happen overnight.  For us, it’s been almost a decade of deep reflection, cultivating feedback loops, building connections, and acting with care, support, and intention.  We couldn’t have done it without each other, and I’d say that’s worth celebrating.
